i recently replaced my 95 coupes drivers side mirror with a 92 hatch si mirror pulled at a junkyard. the 3 screws that attach the mirror housing to the piece that mounts to the door [on the underside] are stripped out, and im only making them worse as i try to pull them out.

is there a tool for this? no more ds mirrors in my area's junkyards, so im looking to make due with this one.

dremel a slot into the top. Or drill a hole into the head and use an extractor. Or just drill the head off and use vice grips.

theyre sunk in to where i cant get em with a vice. autozone sell extractors?

Why not just use a die to re-cut the threads? Should work unless they're really fuxed up.

Why are you trying to take the mirror apart? Just swap the whole thing as a unit.
