striped threads on oil drain plug.need help

Default striped threads on oil drain plug.need help

I some how stripped the oil drain plug threads when i was in a rush to change the oil, i was reading on tapping and running a biger bolt or something like that idk, but if anyone knows what size or any other fix's instead of buying a whole new oil pan please let me know, thanks

tapping would be the only fix but i dont know if thats a good thing to do or not.... not a clue.

Advance auto has oversized drain plugs. Have them look up the oem plug part number and then pull the part and find the size. Then get the single oversize plug. They should have them in stock. If not make them get out the book.
