Default Stretching Steering Wheel?

Hey guys, i've got a 95' Honda Civic LX, roughly 250K miles and i've already replaced my CV Axles and i JUST replaced my Rack & Pinion. When i went to do a test drive to see if it was driveable to go and get my wheels aligned, i noticed this really weird "streching" noise coming from what sounded like my steering wheel when i made extremely hard turns, not regular turns, like if i was doing a u-turn. I have no idea what it could be any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!

Record the sound and upload it. Post a link because your description of the issue is terrible.

Sounds like something is binding. Couldn't really tell you exactly what. Might also want to have someone under the hood and under the dash to see if there is any issue there when this happens and possibly pinpoint it. Start inspecting your work. As I have yet to have to make repairs to a steering rack this might be indicative of a new install? Just guessing.

Thanks for you input! I'll definately snag a partner to help pinpoint the location of the monstrocity!

Does it only happen going in one direction? The cable reel for the airbag and horn is probably over extended and stretching.

To be honest, i think its only when i pull the wheel to the right all the way. Is there a way to stop that from happening?
