STR cam gear help
I have the newer style STR cam gears and was wondering if anyone here knew how to tune them or read the degree markings, because they are so different from most cam gears. Any directions or a site or anything would help a lot, thanks.

Re: STR cam gear help (CandyRedHatch)
Start from the center, on the outside part of the gear. There is a big mark there, that is 0, go to the inner part of the gear, find the center. That is 0. When those 2 marks are lined up, the cam gear is "zeroed" out. To advance or retard the gear, figure out how many degrees you want to change, advance is rotating the inner portion counter clockwise, retard is clockwise. Start at 0, each line is 1 degree, if you want to advance 2 degrees, start on the outside part of the gear again, count 2 lines to the left, then go to the inner portion of the gear, and count 2 lines to the left of 0. Line those 2 lines up. You have just advanced the cam gear 2 degrees. Retarding works the same way. Its just X number of degrees = X number of lines
