stock limiter
can anyone tell me how far i can take each gear in mph's. i have a 00 civic hatch dx. i took third gear to 100 but it still didnt bog. i know the stock motor is nothing but its still fun to smash around sometimes but its hard with out a tach.

If I remember right I believe you can take 3rd til about 110-111, then 4th goes forever. The fastest I ever got my dx was about 125, thats what any of my friends could do with the stock EK's. The gear ratios are rediculious, but bad *** gas mileage.

emerika.. the 96-00 hatchy's did not come with a tachometer.. but 110-115 should be the limt in 3rd gear for the d16y7 with the 3.7 FD gear I swear to god the 96-00 civic hatches have the worst gearing in the world.. at least the dx coupes had a 4.0FD gear
