My O2 sensor was rusted shut on my exhaust manifold until my bro was able to yank it out with an impact gun. The O2 sensor was so badly rusted that the threading got messed up on my exhaust manifold during the process. As a result, I can't put my new O2 sensor on. My bro recommends chasing the threads if there are people out there with the tools.

If that plan doesn't work, I'm thinking of hitting the junkyard. Problem is, I don't remember seeing too many D16Z6 exhaust manifolds lying around. However, I believe it is possible to get a hold of a D15B series exhaust manifold. Will that work if I stick it on?

All I'm looking for is a stock replacement so I can stick my damn O2 sensor back on. My old one wasn't working so I was only getting about 20mpg.

Anybody in socal/ SGV trying to get rid of theirs? Let me know.
