Stiff Rear doors on '99 EX sedan?
I am having a problem with the rear door on my girls ’99 Civic EX sedan. They are VERY stiff to open and close. I have applied generous amounts of White Lithium grease to both the door hinges and the slide but it does not seem to be improving the situation? The Pass. Front door does this also but to a lesser degree than the rear doors. When we first got the car about 3,000 miles ago, I though the P/O just did not use the other doors much and that is why they were stiff. However, we use all four allot and they are still stiff with use and lube???

Dude I already put ALLOT of White Lithium Grease which is what you are suppose to put on doors and such. I would think that would be better??

Maybe the grease isn't getting in the hinges. Maybe take the doors off the car, take the hinges apart, and put them back together with lots of the grease? (this is what I had to do on my Nissan Pathfinder's rear gate)
