Default Sticking injectors?

This problem has occurred for a while now but since it's been getting below freezing lately, it's become more irritating.

Previously, before my engine was at operating temperature I couldn't rev any higher than ~3000rpm. Beyond this point it felt like the car was misfiring. After the engine was warm though it disappeared and ran just fine. Start up and idle were normal too.

Now though, I have dead/flat spots all over the place. 1800, 2500, 2900 and it's still impossible to go over 3000. I've compression checked, changed plugs, verified a strong spark, et cetera but nothing has ever improved. My last theory has always been that my injectors are sticking until they're warmed up.

Has anyone seen this before? I'd like to troubleshoot it a bit more before spending the money to get a new set of injectors.

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Sticking injectors?

try seafoam. soak the injectors in it. or run a full can when its almost empty.
also if you ecu is damaged or wires are messed up that can happen. i had a peice of copper stuck in a plug somehow...it touched 2 injectors together and they stuck open....1000cc injectors hydrolocking e85 in the cylnders :/
