How do the RPMs increase if you have no spark?

do you understand the "car has no spark" term?

this would imply that the car won't start...

so the question is, how can your rpm's rise, if your car won't start.

knowing now what "no spark" implies, lets restate your question....

What about over working the brake system? Just like on power steering, if you use an accessory won't it chage the rpms? I could be wrong as this may be for only belt driven acessories but I know the volatge of a battery can even affect the rpms.

I guess we should be asking how much it raises when you press the pedal. But is the car even on when this happens? If not sounds like wiring, I did a cluster swap and had a few pinouts wrong and my gauges were all crazy.

Check your brake booster. And the line that goes to the Intake Manifold.
