Default Steering wheel removal + momo install

Need help trying to install aftermarket momo hub, NRG quick release, and momo wheel.

Took off the steering wheel and not sure what to do with the SRS ring and cable. Prefer the horn to still work after wheel install.

Many videos online are terrible and don’t explain it well. Thanks!

All Momo hubs I've seen require you to remove the clock spring and try to wire the horn some way.

Maybe try this video?

I don't remember what the back of the Momo hub looks like.

Update, it appears you must remove the SRS ring so I removed that and installed the Hub.

New issue is, do you need to buy another part like an aftermarket clock spring or something to connect the positive (+) wire from the horn to the car?

Any recommendations?

thanks, unfortunately I have a 1992 and this wiring in the video looks different. Guess I’ll need to install without a horn for now and deal with it down the road.

Probably need to splice into horn spring under dash, run the wire up and buy that clock spring for 1988-1991 civic.

I'm not sure if your Momo horn button has 2 spade connectors on the back. If its 2, it should simply hook up to your quick release. If its 1, you need one of these to ground the wire from the quick release.

Same applies to between the quick release and hub. Then its a matter of getting the horn from your dash loom to work with the hub. Its not that hard really.

You can use the ring above or a shoe horn tab...

Thanks, yeah the wheel assembly on the back where the metal contact ring is, there is no wire obviously available so I’ll need to track one down.
