i need to replace my steering rack on my 93 si. i dont want to have power steering.

which manual rack it the best?

is there a company that makes a short ratio rack for our cars?


would the power rack of a 2000 teg work on my car? then i could just run the little kit to take off the power steering. (i have a 2000 gsr in my drive way i am parting out)

i talked to fastbrakes and they said that the Quaife project cant get off the ground becase not enough people seemed into it. so looks like i have to stay with a honda rack. this brings me to my next question what is a good manual steering rack that is short ratio? i need to replace my rack asap so if anybody could help me out plz.

all the manual racks for civic's as far as I know are 19:1 where as the power unit's are 17:1... this is from memory though..

anyone know the steering ratio for both ITR and GSR? Ive read that the ITR is 15.7:1 and the GSR is 16.1:1. can anyone verify this?

lol no its not stolen my room mate crashed it a while ago. so im helping him out by stripping it down so he can make some money on it. ripped the engine out yesterday.
