Default steering problems

my 95 civic 4dr pulls to the right and when you slam on the brakes there is a loud clunk noise and then the check engine light comes on. any one know what might be wrong.

You have several problems and they could be a ton of things.

Check tire pressure

Check alignment

Check brake operation (one caliper may not be working, so the working one causes it to go to the right)

The CEL might be a completely un-related problem that becomes related by movement when you slam on the brakes.

Look at the inner and outer tie rod ends. When they wear the tires can point dirrerent directions uder acceleration and braking.

i agree, i think its the rods because i have the same problem. just did an alignment too. and got brand new tires. and took to mechanic and they said my brakes and rotors were fine.
