Default Steam, mist or smoke IDK. Help.

So I was at a red light. I turned on my AC. It felt like the car was bugging out. Then light turned green tokk off then all of a sudden car hesitated and a mist/smoke/steam shot out from what it looked like beneath the driver side rear. Almost sounded like if I had nos and was purging. What could this be.

Does it do it every time you run the AC?

History on the car?

Considering you were moving... You could have just blown a line. Mose of all the A/C stuff is on the driver side, and all of the mechanical parts (condenser, compressor etc) are on the driver side. See if you have any refrigerant left. Just open one of the service ports and stick a screw driver on the stem. If nothing comes out, then there's your answer haha. It was just refrigerant pissing out. If something does come out... Yeah hold your breath and walk away. LOL

actually, you should hold your breath before you do that... still, its a bad idea... not to mention it is illegal to vent refrigerant into the air

seeing how you said the motor bogged down before... the compressor may have blew..
