I got one from a local junkyard for $65 and haven't had a problem with it.

it is very possible that there is one bad ground wire connection near the starter.

it is rare for honda starters to go bad.

check your connections and clean them up!

Before purchasing a new starter take the old one to any auto parts store and have it tested for free.

My ground wire on my tranny was bad and it gave me starter problems.
