Default Starter Fitment Question

I'm doing my auto to manual swap and I already know I have to replace the starter from auto to 5 speed. My question is can I use any D-series starter or only a starter from a 96-00 Civic. Also will a Y7 starter work. I have a D16Z6 block, Y8 head, Y8 tranny.

Im not 100%... but Im pretty sure, if you just switch the plugs you should be fine.
I know that doesn't really help, but.... I tried.

For those who care the Y8 and Y7 starters are exactly the same.
