Default stainless steel clutch lines

i have a ej1 and the clutch feels horrible i think the master cylinder is going out so im replacing that. but my ? is will stainless steel let me build more pressure in the clutch? i have heard the rubber hoses flex alot so you can only build so much pressure. so will the stainless steel lines let me build more? thanks for the help

I don't know if stainless steel lines would help at all, but stock clutch lines aren't rubber hoses. It's a metal line (not sure what kind of metal though). You can follow it from the clutch master cylinder all the way to the slave cylinder.

the hard line ends once the line goes from the frame to the slave cylinder. They put in a rubber line because of the engine movement. Looks just like a rubber brake line.

To the poster, I don't know if the SS lines do anything either. But at $35 or so that they sell for, I'm gonna do it on mine. Can't hurt I figure.

Yep that's right.

If you end up using the stainless steel line, post a review for us.

yea i was goning to say i think there is maybe 3 rubber hoses throughout the lines. but i figured with the flex in those hoses would leak the pressure out so im gonna try this. i think we all know the stock clutch in a ej1 feels like ****. or atleast mine has from day one.
