you dont need a clutch that agressive.. you can get a act stage 1 oe 2 and be just fine, unless you plan on doing some major mods later on , Boost etc .. it going to be a waste od money... and drivability goes down hill the higher u go in stages.. yea you can get use to heavier clutches and what not , but they begin to be a pain when you in stop n go traffic etc

The higher the stage of clutch= the harsher engagement and more clutch chatter which makes it much more difficult and annoying to drive on the street.
Like the previous post said, only buy a stage 1 if your staying stock, 2 if you plan on doing some modding and 3 or higher if your going boost.

Puck clutches suck for driving on the street. The engagement is harsh, they don't last long and they're hard on diffs and final drives from the harsh engagement I mentioned earlier. A stock Exedy or stage 1 clutch is fine for a stock engine.

i had a stage 3 6 puck clutch on my boosted d series and i never had harsh engagements i guess its mainly how u drive or work the clutch that would cause this. if ur not boosting it u will not need a stage 3 clutch a stage 1 or 2 will work just fine.

Everybody expressed there opinion without even knowing if it's a sprung or unsprung disc..
Unsprung Clutch Disc = Basically an on/off switch..
Sprung Disc = Not like that.. in most cases
I've been running a stage 4 competition clutch (6 puck sprung disc) on my all motor B18C1 for four years, Used it on my Turbo B20B Setup and Now on my 97 Spec JDM ITR Engine with no problems.. at all!
It's all about driver error, of course if you go around every day grabbing the **** out of gears.. barking 3rd and 4th gear it's going to be extremely hard on the car, but eventually you learn that you don't haft to do that to shift perfect.
Do some searching on clutches, you will notice most people are using stuff like
- Exedy
- ACT
- Competition
- Spec
- Clutchmasters
Also it depends on what you plan on doing with the car in the future, if you don't plan on making anymore power.. then no you don't need something that aggressive.
