I recently had to replace the electronic ignition on my 94 ex coupe, I had taken the steering wheel off and etc, I did everything by the haynes manual and such i fixed the problem and put everything back the same way it came off, that being said i started it up and the SRS light came on and now wont go off for some reason. I have diconected the NEG. battery cable and that did nothing to help Right now my air bag is unpluged for safety reasons.

Can anyone add some insight to the problem, i have to go through the Inspection lanes in a month so i need to get this fixed..

your airbag being unplugged will cause that light. plug it back in or take out the SRS light bulb in the cluster

I know that it being unpluged will cause the Light to stay on, what i was asking is how to make it go out! I pluged it in and it still stays on, i disconnected the Neg. Battery cable and it stayed on, so i unplugged it cause i dont want the bitch deploying in my face when im driving!!..

Does anyone else have any other thought on how to fix this problem??

once i found a way to reset the SRS system in the fuse box with a piece of wire. also its possible you broke your clock spring removing your steering wheel. my ej didnt have one when i bought it and the horn or cruise also didnt work.

but search like SRS reset here and google. pretty sure thats all you need to do.
