Squealing noise coming from timing belt area ...need help
i just finished puttin in another ls motor in my coupe and went to start it today and all kinds of squelling is coming from the timing belt area. almost sounds as if something could be rubbin . just wondering any ideas before i tear it apart tommorow ..
also one more thing there is like a hose on the back of my intake manifold that is kinda like a sensor anyone know what it is and how i can remove it to put a new one on .... thanks alot .... pat

Could be other belts besides the timing belt. My AC belt squeels like a banshee when I throw on the AC on a cold morning or night.

only other belt it could be would be the alternator belt dont have ac or power steering... also could that black cover be rubbing somewhere is this possible ...

As for the first part... Tighten ALL of the bolts on the alternator mounts as hard as you can. Worked in a few cars we worked on.
