sputter issue and ecu need help please
So I just bought a 93 hb si and it has a Jdm b16 obd1 in it. First generation dohc vtec I believe and it sputters in low rpms up to about 2.5k rpms in all gears but it's fine if I stay on the throttle nicely after 2.5k rpms until I give it more gas and try and push it a little harder it'll sputter again and from time to time my speedo bounces around like its got a mind of its own and then sometimes it wont work at all. Can anybody help?? I also checked the ecu and it's a p28. Can that be my sputter issue? My p30 is coming from eBay next week. Is that the ideal ecu for that swap? Any info will help thanks!!
