most race springs will drop you 2"-2.5" if you want to slam your car, you need to get coilover sleeves

Good Sleeves: Skunk2, GC

Shitty Sleeves: Arospeed (I'm rockin these), APC, OBX

but whats the point of dumping your car like that? trying to see who can get the most dents in their header and/or oilpan?

I played that game last night on my friends driveway. As for the springs I wouldnt dump your car too much. I am running a set of H&R race springs and its plenty low. Its low enough where it clears most of everything on the road withough ripping my cars nuts out.

Seriously I have the new speed race springs on the takico 5-ways, and my car is lowered about two inches. It sucks man, I have about a finger gap all the way round and I still bottom out my headers, and my apex-i n-1 is all fucked up!! Slammin ur ride is gay unless it is for show. When I get my zeal suspension I plan on raising it about another half an inch or so. ;}

I concur. I wouldn't slam the car cause that's just not practical unless your car is used only for show. I'm running Neuspeed race (same drop and I think same rates as H&R race) and it's pretty damn low, but not to the point of where I'm scraping and banging the crap out of everything on the bottom. I barely ever scrape anything on the bottom, but when I do scrape it's always my front lip.

coilovers will make you go the lowest. If you rather not have coilovers SPRINT makes some springs that slam you pretty low. I think it was like 3"

eg6turbo,
how's the ride in your car with that drop and stock shocks? Curious if a person should buy new (aftermarket) ones when they drop a car or if stock ones work well enough. Thanks

Amen man.

****, I'd love for these fucktards to come to my area of NY with their car "slammed" and drive around for a bit claiming "I know how to drive low profile."

Their car would end up being towed outta here in 5 different pieces and a box for all their extra JDM ****.

I've got nice roads in my town, and most of the surrounding area.

H&R race is a great drop.

The neuspeeds have slightly stiffer rates, and a shorter drop.

H&R race.

don't cut the springs, you'll regret it. i'm not sure what i'm even using, but they're tokico blues. slammed my car pretty low, but i raised it a bit after I slapped on 16" konigs.

whats wrong with being dumped the car looks alot better when it low to the ground and u wont bottom out if u got a stiff good suspension nd u juat gotta watch out for holes nd go slow in on drive ways.

At your current rate with that "slam," your car is going to end up like these

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuUd5thnz0c

Your shocks won't like you.

that wont happen if u have a good suspension and one that can handle the drop.
