Which Springs are best for my EK
iv been lookin at some springs to drop into my hatch, but not shure which ones i would like to put in it yet because i still want a low ride height yet smooth ride. If anyone out there has any suggestions for good springs to put it please let me kno. I was either going to go with sum eibach (spelling) or teins, if yall have sum springs u wanna let me kno about that ur personally happy about or have had good things about let me kno it would help a bunch. And also wats a decent camber kit and shocks. I was told tokikos were good for shocks but if yall have sum other stuff let me kno ill do sum research on them

Re: Which Springs are best for my EK (Cashieboi)
I had Tein S-tech in my 2000 Si, put 14,000 miles on them on stock struts, great springs.
I had no name coilovers with Tokico Blue struts in my CRX. Shitty ride, wasn't impressed with the shocks. That was a mistake.
I had Comptech springs on stock struts in my GSR. Rode nice, not too impressed though. Had a lot of body roll still.
I had APEX'i World Sport coilovers in my Type-R. Stiff, non adjustable dampening rate, and they started to get rusty.
I had D2 coilovers in my S2000. Shitty ride, shitty product, wouldn't reccommend to anyone.
I had Eibach springs on stock struts in the S2000 too. Nice ride, just like stock. Good drop, too, but not enough for my taste.
I had Tein SS-P in my Prelude. Nice suspension, good ride, couldn't complain except for the price tag.
My newest project (EK Hatch) got Tein S-techs with KYB GR2 struts. Not adjustable which I like, smooth but steady ride, I couldn't be happier. If I wanted more functionality, I would consider the Tein SS or FLEX, but for this car which is daily driven on the street (no track time!) these are perfect.
Hope that helps
Damn I had a lot of Hondas ^all those before my 20'th birthday

then the teins are your best bang for the buck.

springs?
probably tein S-Techs or Eibach on stock shocks if you're on a budget.
it's not gonna be low as hell or monster truck high, but it will give you the height to know that you're lowered, just about right height for daily street driving. I have it on, and I love it
coilover sleeves,
probably GC (ground control)
if i had the cash, definitely upgrade to the Tein S-Techs.
trust me, can't argue with the name of Tein, thats why the price tag is ripped up!
but IMO, I love Tein S-techs for budget holders and daily smooth (better spring rates and better ride than stock)
and the SS/Flex for the more advanced, dough holders

Re: Which Springs are best for my EK (FutureITR)
I've had my Eibach Ground Control (-1" to -4") adjustable coilovers since I bought my EX new in 97 and I've never regretted them. I had Tokiko Illumina adjustable shocks put in at the same time and one went out last year, so I replaced them with KYB AGX adjustables.
I'd recommend all of the above, and I know you say you don't want adjustable springs, but as I've grown older it's been a blessing that I can raise my car to compensate for my change in taste.
Best of luck to you, and hope this helped
