which springs???

which springs???
I currently have a set of neuspeed race springs on my hatch. The ride is too rough and stiff for me. What springs will be good for daily/freeway driven car? I need a subtle yet noticable drop, but with a stock like smooth ride. I was thinkn bout some neuspeed sports, or eibachs, or h&rs. Im running tokico blues right now if that makes a difference.
Also are slotted/drilled rotors really worth it? i think the rotors i have right now are warped (ssss, sss, ssss, everytime i stop) and im going to need to replace them soon with somewhat of an upgrade. With what pads , i want some that dont dust a lot.....

I have H&R sports on my 00 si and imo they are perfect. lowered it enough to look good and still have more than enough ground clearance. while giving a good ride, and good handling.

I have h&r sports. i replaced my eibach sportlinescause it was a harsh ride. the sport springs feel much more comfortable. though i wish it was lowered a little more, it handles much better than the eibach (in my opinion)
others have had great success with their eibachs. but they didnt work for me.

eibach pro-kits are a good ride. since you have tokico blues a stiff spring will do no good
since the dampers wont dampen the spring. also i advise you not goin too low. why because
of the tokico blues. they're almost the same spec as stock.
i say anything spring with a spring rate no more than 350 will give you a nice soft yet firm ride
and will save your dampers.
slotted/drilled rotors, are they a good buy? well depends on how you drive. if you dont auto X
or anytype of road race those rotors will be a waste of money. other than it looking cool
it will serve almost no purpose for goin to work or school and back.
oem pad will be best if you want low dust. there are a lot of pads out there claiming low
or no dust, which is bullshit. there are pads out there with minimal dusting but i have yet to
find them, especially i hammer on the brake at times to the point of fading.
fyi on the prokits you can lower upto 1.75 inches vs 1.5 stated. you can achieve this by removing
the rubber mount that sits inside the pillow mount.

Re: which springs??? (speedaholic92)
i had eibach sportlines for about 7 years, low as hell, but i liked how progressive springs feel and reacted. i forgot what the rates were, but it was pretty smooth. if anything, the shocks dying on me made it rougher. i know they're a bit low. i've seen a pro-kit on an '02 maxima, and the shocks just did't match the springs (sitting in the rear bounces you hard). but the ride height was just right.
regarding your brakes...i think the sound you're hearing are the indicators when your pads are getting thin, or you're getting hella dirt/moisture on your rotors. you'd feel the warped rotors when braking as opposed to just hearing them. i'd also go with the oem brake pads.

Fancy brake rotors do absolutely nothing other than "look cool." Save yourself some money buy using blanks.
AEM pads (made by Nissin) are a slightly more aggressive compound than the OEM Honda pads (also made by Nissin), but the AEMs do not create much more dust than the OEM pads. Other pads I've used have dusted like hell, but the AEMs are pretty good in that respect.
