Spraying a 00 Civic EX

Re: Spraying a 00 Civic EX (ZEX00CivicDUde)
I am running a 55 shot right now, it's great, no problems yet. I tried a 75 shot once racing my friends Type R, with stock internals and stock fuel regulator. It was running a little lean, but no detonation and the engine is still running strong. But after saying all this, it was only a one time thing and I don't recommend you doing it without the proper upgrades. The Zex kit is definitely a great beginners kit and you can't really go wrong with it, just make sure you use two step colder spark plugs, go with either NGK or the ZEX plugs, alot of ppl here will say the zex plugs are garbage, but from my experience I didn't notice any difference between the two and my engine is still running fine.

Would stick with around a 50-shot, adj. fpr to raise fuel pressure a couple psi and invest in an a/f gauge---it will be your best friend becuase we all already know that detonation is our worst enemy

Re: Spraying a 00 Civic EX (turbovtecpower)
I had a 2000 Civic EX and put a 55shot ZEX on it at 10k miles ran it all the time till 16k probably about 15 bottles and not a problem. I only took it off when I installed a Jackson Racing supercharger 9psi and then I really started ****** some **** up. I was killin everyone, specially w/ my stock exhaust, no one expected the as whipping they were about to receive.
JRSC 9psi 14.7 @ 92mph (full interior, 17 konig verdicts)
ZEX 55 shot 15.4 @ 88mph (full interior, 17 konig verdicts)
never dynoed or tuned.
