Default spoon stroker kit

Im thinking about buying a spoon stroker kit!, but i want to know what sort of power they can take (BHP) and can they handle boost etc? I emailed spoon but they never got back to me! hopefully someone on ht can help

for what motor? i know the 1.8L stroker kit for the B16B is just OEM B18C parts that have been balanced.

that is probably why they didn't reply back, try crower or get it re-sleved your going to spend ridiculious money anyways

spoon is ok i wouldnt get it
go with toda and see if they make ne parts

for the d16 u really need to go to jg engines they got some 190 whp sohc

i would never buy anything JG after the horror stories ive herd all over this board, its a wonder they're still in bussiness. just do a search. my buddy (turbo92si) is out almost $4000 cause of them.... **** JG

stop watching the fast and furious..you must research some things before you ask. spoon doesnt make parts for d series motors and that stroker kit bumps your compression up to like 11.3:1 (on b16 motor) so why would you wanna run a turbo on high compression motor??

it's called tuning my friend. 11.3:1 isn't too high for an FI motor these day's.

that's why you dont use parts from a company that specializes in motors designed in the 60's.

say hellow to throttle response

We've had my room mate's ITR turbo charged for about 3 years on a Drag III setup before it finally blew. Turbo spooled quick!. Now we're running 2 liter sleeves with 9.8 pistons....not too low...but just about right

haha thats fat man..i just always "thought" that it wasnt safe to run high compression w/ a turbo..that ITR must fly now and its so pimp..hey whatever happened to your bros H22 hatch??
