Default Speedometer problems...

Im having problems with my speedometer and odometer. Niether of them work but the fuel and temp gauges both work... ive checked the connectors on the back of the cluster and they seem to be fine. Other then a bad cluster what other things could possibly be causing this...possibly the vss?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

edit: The car is a 94 civic cx hatch

check the fuses before that.

i thought it was my vss, or my fuses... but it just turned out the speedo broke. (going too fast can cause that to happen)

When u replaced the vss, Did you MAKE SURE that it came out of a d series motor? The reason why I ask is bc I had the same problem, went to junkyard, they gave me an Acurea Legend vss. It looks Very similar to the b series and d series (they are the same I think) but it doesnt work the same. Make sure of that if your not already, Then check fuses. I would also check the wiring with a multimeter.

Good luck 2 ya
