Default Speed Sensor Fuse

just recently my speed senor fuse blew. after it blew, my idle dropped very low, all lights flickered, and my speedometer didnt work. i replaced the fuse and took the car for a test drive, and the fuse blew again after taking it up to 5000 rpm. i drive a 1996 civic cx. anyone have this problem and can tell me why the fuse is blowing??

low resistance due to a short.....my advice is check your wires look for any damage....sounds like your having a voltage surge at that rpm.......i dont have a link for you too get the wiring chart..but just do a search and you should find it
