Speakers dont fit in hatch doors....PLEASE HELP......

Speakers dont fit in hatch doors....PLEASE HELP......

I just got some shallow mount speakers, and when i went to install them there is a black plastic basket holding the stock speaker. Do i remove that basket? Or do i keep that basket there to hold the new speaker?

Im confused......PLEASE HELP

I'm not the audio guru but i'm pretty sure you reuse the stock piece. That's what the audio shop did for my jbl's in my old hatch.
