Wow ****, thats kinda scary. That happened to my friend but it was a 89 Camery 4dr V6 model. We found the exact same car as his infront of his place. What happened was the thieves took different cars for rides and looked for new ones. When he talked to a cop they said that was the stupidest thing Toyota did, they made all the keys the same that year.
If honda did that my car is now sleeping in the driveway behind my moms car.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
There are keys!!!...and there's one key that is the one!!
Actually...if your key is not the orginal factory one!! chances are your locksmith did a bad cutting job and now it somehow work like magic on other car!! Believe me I have my local locksmith recut my key like 4 times!!
If thats your original keys that work on the other car then that is pretty scary!! Wonder why this thing is not on some sort of government/safety recall!!

wow thats crazy. one time when i was real young, this guy with a mercury grand marquis had locked his keys inside his car. my dad had the keys to his ford truck, and just for the hell of it, he tried unlocking his door with the key. it ******* worked...

when i was at work one day i went to pull in a toyota 4runner and got in and started it up and only after pulling into the shop did i realize that the license plate was not the same. the real car was on the other side of the shop. i put the car back where i found it just one spot off. i wonder if the owner even noticed.

Re: (MIdoriEK)
my orginal honda (1985) key unlocked my car, my dads car, my sisters car, and even my friends car and started it too.
this key was worn to the max though.
When ever i borrowed there car, i had to look at the tags to see if it was theres then sit in it and drive. was mad crazy though. i wonder if it could have unlocked any RSX's or has Honda finally got smart and changed them.

Re: (MIdoriEK)
Just to clarify a little, I think what EK means is there are 6 sections on the key. Each section is cut to any one of 3 possible different depths. If that isn't totally making sense, just look at your key. Count the # of 'ridges' on one side of the key. Unless you have a key w/ 2 sections with the same depth rght next to each other, you'll see 6 different bumps or ridges.
Maybe that makes sense... ...maybe it doesn't.
<-------wishes he had his digi so he had a visual aid!
