so the EX trans work work with the d15b??
WHY?
i thought that the EX was the best single cam trans.

i have HID's in my CTR headlights but they don't fit in my denji's.
where is a good place to buy replacement lenses for headlights??? (bought one lense cracked)
it sucks

The Ex tranny is the longest d series tranny. and all D series trannys are interchangable.

Whatever bulbs fit the Denjis are good. It's personal preference for types of light you want.

Yes, the D16Z6 tranny will work well with the D15B, I don't know why anyone would say no.

I would assume you have the D15B VTEC. For that, a more convenient path for you would be a P28 with P08 maps.

Pretty sure its the longest. Comparable to the LS tranny except the LS 5th gear is a little longer.

EX is the shortest, it is comparable to the longest B series transmission (the LS) in terms of ratios, but in terms of shortest vs longest D series transmission, the EX (Z6) trans is the shortest.

VX is the longest.

LS pretty much = EX for terms of equal gear ratios.

@ OP:
EX trans will work fine - and is the best factory trans for your current application (manual).

Go with the P28 ECU. It has the correct fuel and ignition retard tables for the Z6.
