Solar battery charger
i am looking into getting one of these for when i am at car shows.. i have my radio hooked up to a latching relay on my alarm so i can basically use the alarm remote to turn the radio off and on using one of the extra outputs on the alarm without having to have my key in the ignition.. i like to leave the radio goin during the shows... i dont have any amps or anything i just like the music.. but the only down fall of this is i have to start up my car every now and then to keep the battery charged... i came across one of these the other day and they are suppose to wprk fairly well in direct sunlight. you just hook it up to the battery and place it in the light.. im just wondering if it would keep enough charge to run the radio for an extended period of time without having to come by my car and crank it up and me still be able to get in and crank the car up at the end of the day after having my radio going for a while. if anyone ahs ever used these or has any experience with them let me know.. it has a 30 day period to return it so im just thinkin bout buyin one and testing it out one day... but if anyone has anything bad to say bout them let me know so i dont waste my time.
