sohc vtec swap/vtec wont work
well i recently swaped a z6 after being build for turbo into my 93 hatch.also did a 5speed conversion and so and so.now my vtec does not work im sure its pined right and i dont throw a code for vtec but i can not feel hear when it engages.well my friend inspected everything and it looks allright. all we could come up with is....
my head and my cam jurnals are not a match.dont know if this will make a difference but... my head has writen on it P08 on the exaust side.i dont really know what this stands for. now the cam jurnals are form a z6 head that the same friend give to me.
will all this afect my vtec and prevent it form working right.
guys thanx for your help.

You know that VTEC on d-series is hard to feel/hear right? Just trying to knock off the easy and obvious things first.

Here's a quick way to see if your VTEC is engaging or not. This took me like an hour to hook up, easy install.
