SOHC ITB'S
I am interested in fabing a set of itbs, i have read DIY post on these and was wondering if cbr 1000cc itb's will work , i can get a good deal on a 04 set.
second ?, i have noticed that some people locate there injectors in the stock location and others utillize the throttlebodys location, does this make a difference?
any help is appreceated

BTW -- it's not really worth it if you're looking for a bunch more power. The cost of everything plus getting everything tuned correctly doesn't really warrant the $$ you have to spend -- except for rarity.

before i waste the $$$ listen to your own words bro.
You wont get your money's worth with this mod on a D-motor. Spend the money/time else where.

If you remove the intake manifold, there is no stock location for the injectors. You want those injectors as close to the stock position and stock angle as possible.
What are you doing for a MAP reference? Or are you using a EMS that has throttle based maps? What are you doing for a vacuum source for your brake booster, FPR, etc?

Re: SOHC ITB'S (suspendedHatch)
i was planning on hacking a stock manifold to use the flange, so if i was to cut the manifold before the injector ports i could just use the factory location?
but i was searching and noticed that some people use the injectorports in the itb?
does this matter?
for the vacuum i was just going to fab a "vacuum box"?
i will be hacking the manifold 2night
so any help, suggestions , are greatly appreciated
will up load a few pics of progress "as soon as i figure out how"
