I was wondering what it the difference between the HX motor than the EX....need to know cause i want to use the hx block with the ex head.

I'm pretty sure the HX motor is the Y5...no? And if I'm not mistaken that uses the VTEC-E system instead of the VTEC system..which is weaker of course. Other than that I think they're the same, maybe a cam difference or something :-\.

You can use the Y5 Block with a Y8 Head it just like anyother mini-me

Yes but I have heard its just simpler and there are less headaches if you just swap a y8 in.
