Default So I spun out and hit a tree this morning..... ANYONE know where I can get a new bumper!?

First let me explain what happened, because I feel like it.

I was driving to work this morning at 5:58 or so, and I was running late. I had to be at work at 6am and I was going about 40mph. There was a dusting of snow/ice on the road which I notice, but I was late and had to pick up the pase.... well..... I recently put 14" snows in the front and still retained my stock 15" wheels, and fucked up tires in the back which have no reason to be anywhere near the north.... due to the fact they are not rated for snow at all.

Anyways... There was about a 25 degree bend in the road and I was driving fine until I turned the wheel, and in that split second, my *** end kicked out and I spun out..... This seemed to go on for about 20 mintues, but it happened in an instant. So I drift right into the snow on the side of the road which slowed me down enough to stop me 5 inches, Thats right.... 5 inches from a telephone pole.... which would have taken out my entire left side of my car. but it didnt save me from the tree that was behind me.... It took out my bumper and made a big *** crack in it.

I made a picture thats rather funny if you ask me.

So does anyone know where I can find a replacement bumper for a 99 Civic Si??
A new one would be nice......

EDIT: Heres the damage, not bad at all, but worth getting fixed. you can't see the side of the bumper sticking out though...

Yeah I hope you can order a bumper from hondaautomotiveparts.com, because about two months ago I ordered new front and rear bumper covers from them for my 96 Civic Hatch, and they emailed me and told me they could not ship body parts that big. So I called them and they told me if they shipped them they would more than likely get damaged beening shipped to me, but I got mad at them and was like why do you have parts on your web site that you will not sell, and they couldn't give me an answer. Oh well I got over it and ordered the new bumpers from my Acura dealer and it is all good. I just wish you luck on ordering the bumper from them.

if you are going to tell your insurance company that somebody hit you then they will probably want a police report even if you claim it was a hit and run. i dont know if the sliding off the road would count against your driving record with the insurance company since no other vehicles were involved and the accident was caused due to the weather. like here in MN if you hit a deer they dont jack up your rates
