Default So i got this b16a2 from a junkyard (need help first engine)

hello everybody.
so i just came back from the junkyard with this b16a2.

i dont know its condition so im gonna overhaule it. (not my self/in a shop)

this is my first engine that i buy so be delicat with me

please take a look in the picturs and tell me what are the components that are missing on this engine.

here is a list of the things that i know thats missing:
-DIZZY
-alternator
-throttle cable
-full engine wiring (the idiots just cut the wiring )
-engine pully.

now its your turn.... tell me if you see anything missing.

best regards moshik galimidi

p.s.

a day after i got the engine the guy from the junk yard called me and said he found the flywheel and the cluch... so i went over to take it....

are these any good?? is it of a b16?

Yeah, obviously your missing tranny and axles
and if i were you i would take advantage in
installing a racing clutch while its open
your missing you distributor and your linkage
unless i missed seeing this on your pictures
but every thing else looks clean i dont know if
your wiring harness is to chewed up to re-use
though but other wise its a good start i Just
got B16 A2 AS WELL SHE RUNS GOOD .
GOOD LUCK ON THIS PROJECT. WHAT CAR IS THIS FOR?

shortblock = complete block... no head or IM
longblock = block and head, im, basically everything but tranny

any idea how many miles are on this motor? considering hmotorsonline sells 92-95 (and u have a 94) b16a longblocks for 900+shipping and "average" 25k miles and come with a few extra parts then what you have now i'd say it wasnt a bad deal considering there arent many Bs where youre at. good luck with it

that line on top of TB goes to the charcol canister, and by looks of it that TB is set up to use a TB mounted map, you can see to screw holes and a hole for the map tube/tip to sit in.

good luck
