It could have had the pads so worn down that it somehow touched the rivets and ripped them down. Check the other clutch pads still remaining.

That flywheel insert isn't cheap. Roughly $100 or more, just resurface it.

Don't know if they are on your clutch list, but I've got an ACT prolite combined with an Action 1MS (sprung 6puck)... I love the setup and am right around your power area. I believe its rated for like 180ish TQ.

uhhgggg **** that **** id be pissed your putting down what a MAX of 150TQ i think there is an ACT non puck disk that can handle soemthing like 250TQ. id be pissed. how many miles on the clutch??? id see if CM would re-embers you then take your money else wear, a couple freinds of mine have had really bad luck with CM i stick ACT

Screw clutchmasters!!! Everything they make sucks! I've had nothing but bad experiences. First I had a unsprung 4 puck clutch and it started slipping within6 months of it being installed. Then I moved to an ACT Maxx Extreme 4 puck with a cluthmasters flywheel (same one as you) and the flywheel started to raddle. I had no idea what it was but when we pulled the tranny off the bolts holes had ovaled out. That is just fucked up and ghetto. I will never buy anything from clutchmasters again. I replaced the flywheel with a stock one and am still running the ACT clutch and it feels as good as new!

doubt it since B_Cruz is th eon who had it in whn i got the car

ill be getting something better since i wil be puttin more power down soon.. i plan on having roughly 210ish once im done so ill be looking for a set up to handle that

i snapped a diaphram(sp?) finger off of my CM stage 3 clutch and i called them up and told them and all i had to do was pay for me to ship the old one back to them and they sent me all new **** and it was even out of warranty so i would at least give them a call even if you do get something else at least maybe you could sell what they send you back or something.... just some food for thought

i dont have no problems with it....turns the tires jsut fine.....2nd gear=more mph

as we discussed in pm burnouts in second gear takes trannies to the pound for permanent bed rest.

I called ClutchMasters and they feel that the Stage 4 was too much for my set up adn that could be a cause in what happened....i find thatr hard to believe....they want me to send it in for review to see what was wrong if it was material etc.....
