SMOGGING MY ENGINE SWAPPED CIVIC
HEY GUYS JUST A QUICK QUESTION. I AM GETTING A B18c.5 TYPE R ENGINE PUT INTO MY 94 CIVIC COUPE, BUT ONCE I GET IT OUT OF THE SHOP, I NEED TO FINISH REGISTERING THE CAR. TO DO THAT I NEED TO GET IT SMOGGED. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET IT TO PASS? WOULD I EVEN HAVE A PROBLEM.

PLEASE TAKE IT OFF CAPS LOCK WHEN YOU TYPE! IT IS VERY ANNOYING TO READ IT WHEN IT IS TYPED LIKE THIS. I DONT THINK YOU WILL PASS SMOG EITHER. BUT WHAT DO I KNOW I NEVER HAD TO SMOG MY CAR IN MY LIFE.

My Friend has a 93 EG with a 1996 JDM B18C-R and he passed with flying colors in Sol Cal, right after he did the swap.
I could not believe it, passed under DX specs.....
His set up is:
1996 B18C-R
Stock EG Air Box with K&N drop in.
New Timing Belt/Water Pump
Adjusted to Stock Timing
Adjusted the Valves
Replaced Cap/Rotor
Replaced Spark Plug with JDM ITR recommended plugs (NGK Plat.)
Replaced Plug Wires with OEM
Replaced PCV with OEM
Comptech ITR Header
Stock USDM ITR Cat. Converter.
RS*R Cat-Back Exhaust System.
Changed Oil and Filter (S2000) Filter
Filled up with Cheveron 91 Oct.
