theres 10 causes for nox...overly advanced timing, defective cat, intake air tmep too high, wrong octane gas, defective egr, coolant temp too high, carbon build up which raises compression and creates hot spots on the piston and theres a couple more but i fergot =P

DSRxLoreto, read please. i have retarded timing, a NEW cat, stock airbox with new filter, 87 octane gas, my car doesnt use an EGR, my car doesnt leak/burn coolant. now can somebody give me more suggestion to solve my high NOX only @ 25mph ?? BUMP

sea foam your motor, get some new plugs, radiator flush and new thermostat. maybe your thermostat is not opening at the right temperature and causeing it to run hotter. that could cause high nox
