Small amount of white smoke...
My 95 Del Sol is putting out a little bit of white smoke when I rev the engine. It's not an excessive amount, and it doesn't look blue. It deosn't smell sweet (to me anyway) just smells like exhaust. I've read that the most common causes for this are condensation, burning antifreeze (sweet/toxic smell), and overfilled oil. I find the last one a bit confusing as most sources say that burning oil is ALWAYS blue. However the genius who changed the oil before I got it did fill it about 1/2 of an inch above the "full" mark. (cold engine, dip, wipe, dip again, check) Should I change the oil to get it down to the proper level?
The last two days have been REALLY humid/rainy here. Does that make it more likely to be condensation, or less likely?
Thanks!

drain some oil out, or change it if its due to be changed. Occasionally you will see the oil level too high due to coolant in the bottom end from a blown headgasket. Its not always milky either like most people believe.

If I had a blown head gasket wouldn't I be having noticeable performance problems?
Thanks much!

Not neccessarily, i've seen quite a few blow with only very subtle signs. I wouldn't panic just yet though, its entirely possible whoever changed the oil last time simply overfilled it and you're just seeing a lot of condensation.

It's looking like it was just condensation...today was a bit warmer and dryer and there was hardly any "smoke" at all. I'm probably going to change the oil just to be safe though. Thanks again!
