When I got a new regulator for my Civic, the window rolled up fast as bojangles.

It was 50 beans from hondaautomotiveparts.com

my Si has the EXACT SAME problem, the passenger side rolls up slower I took off the interior panel and lubed it up slipprier than.... well it slippery, and works alot better
BTW, I am glad it wasn't just me with this problem. Isn't it funny how something will really bother you, but if you find out that everyone else has the same problem, you don't care has much???

Same problem here with my coupe. I havn't found any lube that stays for more than a couple of weeks.

Any recommendations? It's seriously annoying.

The black rubber part that the glass rolls along. It dries out.
You can get silicone spray from a auto store.

The Si has power windows? Sorry I'm a super n00b. Getting my del Sol in about 2 weeks here... Going to look at it tomorrow. Just a quick question. I take it only the Si has power windows? What's lower than the Si?

replace the rubber because over time it gets gunked and hard and stuff making it drag on the window so that can help but if its been holding it back for a while the motor under that stress might need replacing

I took it to honda dealer they put new tracks on and problem went away for about 5 months then it came back and i just sprayed lub on tracks all the way down i mean like the other guy said supper slippery and they its been good for about 3 months....i figure i can lub it everyone once in a while make sure to clean windows good after you roll them up and down a bit because lub will get a bit on windows. well thats my advice I hope it helps i would try regulator thing too it sounds like my next investment after suspension.

Or the snail shell-shaped helper spring may have come loose. You'll have to take apart the door and take out the regulator to put that piece back in.

TTT

where the hell do i find this pyroil silcone lube at??? what kind of store will carry it, called around and most people tell me to just buy a new motor but i know it can be fixed cause it gets worse at night time for some reason, a dead motor would mean it would do it all the time day or night..
