Re: slotted rotors??? (NXSpoon)
for street, i would use kragen/autozone rotors if you're not doing any type of hard braking
i personally use powerslot front and rear rotors with hawk hps pads all around, i just like the idea of having the extra braking power when i need it, i also have itr 5 lug conversion so that helps

Slotted rotors are going to crack on you and are not worth it for daily use. Like the others have suggested, some autozone/kragen rotors or even Brembo blanks, with a set of autozone/kragen pads with some good fluid will do just fine and save your wallet from hurting.

theres alot of opinions about slotted/drilled rotors compared to blank rotors.
From my experience i've had the brembo drilled/slotted rotors (Not drilled/slotted from brembo themselves, sponsers buy the blanks and do the drilling themselves) anyways i had my pair for 6 months and they warped on me. I do alot of driving but 6months is pretty fast. I lost hope in drilled/slotted rotors so currently im running autozone, duralast rotors, which are actually pretty good. Dont get the the $13 brands though, stick with something thats $20 and up...I spent about $50 bucks on just the fronts, some people would say might as well bought some brembo blanks. Yes, true, but i have a 2 year warranty, so every 2 years i'll just bring them in for new ones... free of charge. Beat that!
As for performance, the slotted/drilled did help out in braking. The car braked alot smoother, i'm not sure if it will make a difference in braking feet for feet with blanks but braking was smoother.
What i would do, i would either go with autozone/kragen rotors w/warranty. 2. go with the slotted rotors only from power slots. 3. If your still looking for top quality drilled rotors, i would buy them direct from brembo. The rotors direct from brembo will only be slotted or drilled. it wont be both. It will also have the gold color to it too.
