Slicks are f-ing cool!!!
D16z6, Greddy kit w/extras-about 12 psi, Hondata and no weight reduction. (even have the spare tire and tools in the trunk) It was very good at spinning the tires. The best i've been able to do on street tires and street drag radials is low to mid 14s.
With slicks and alot of burnout and starting line guidance from Craig, (GITWIDIT) I am now happy.
Anybody have a horsepower guestamation for me?

Re: Slicks are f-ing cool!!! (eg cookiemonster)
Those are some damn good times. I am very impressed I have been trying to convince my girlfriend to do something similar with her 93 EX Coupe forever, but she won't
Damnit...this means that slicks are probably gonna be my next purchase. Stupid Honda-Tech, making me buy stuff

That's what I was thinking on the first launch. After the engine bounced off the rev limiter 5 or 6 times I realized I should shift it into 2nd.

I don't know... Seems a little high for stock internals but i don't know alot about it. I was thinking about the apex kit for my hatch a while back and i was told it was ok to run 8-10 all day depending on the weather and 12psi at the track. Maybe the word has changed now?
