Default skunkworks coilover sleeve

So i am in the middle of changing my strutson my 93 4dr eg , cause when i got the car they were blown. the car is on coil sleeves, and I never realy took a look at them til today, and found out they are Skunkworks springs on coil sleeves... after doing some research, I found that the springs are around 335lb for the rear, and around 447lbs for the front. I got a pair of the new koni orange shocks( i know they are not the best), and a set of no name lowering springs(2" drop), and had planned on running that set up, but now I am contemplating if I should use the skunkworks coilovers instead of the lowering springs. are those good spring rates for stockish type shocks? I am not tryin to slam my car, just want a litter lower than stock

If you don't slam the car I would put them on the skunkwerks suspension. You have no idea what rates, nor the quality of material on the no-name garbage. You could really put your life at risk by using those no name springs/coilovers. They do break.

anybody know if these are good spring rates to run on a daily driver? also i did some research, and found that skunkworks was the name of skunk2 a while ago, and that these springs were made a little beefier than current springs made by skunk 2... I was gonna trash them cause I thought they were ebay coilovers with unknown spring rates... since I know the spring rates, would these be comparable to ground control coilover sleeves? I would assume that guys who run ebay coilovers blow their shocks fast because of the unknown spring rates... is this true?

Those are pretty ideal rates for a daily driver. It will probably be tolerable to most drivers.

Just stick with the skunkwerks, they're a great product with solid rates. I wish my daily driver had those rates instead of my current 350F/350R
