Im about to install the shocks with some skunk2 coilovers. My Q is do i have to cut the bumpstops in half for coilovers? I know you cut them for lowering springs but was wondering if i had to do the same for coilovers? Thanx to anyone who replies Also do the bumpstops go upward or downward i have seen them two diffirent ways and was just curious?

Only cut the bump-stops in half if you're installing the coilovers with the stock shocks... But, since you're installing the same setup as me, skunk2 sport shocks on skunk2 coilovers, you use the bump-stops that they give you, and you don't need to cut them at all... but let me double-check that..

Yes, I was correct, the bump-stop they give you with the sport shocks shouldn't be touched.. Install the washer to stop the shock from popping thru the hood, then install the bump-stop pointing downwards.

Thanks [Eran and Helms]

When putting together a shock it goes:

Nut

Cup Washer (cup lip facing up)

Urethane Bushing (dome up)

Collar

Top Hat

Urethane Bushing (dome down)

Beveled Washer

Bump Stop

Im runnin s2 shocks with s2 sleeves...I got my bumps in half just like many others running the same setup...The ride is just a little stiff. The thinner part of the stop faces down...

Theres a huge thread in tech forum about s2 shocks...
