I really want to install this strut bar, but would like to not cut the plastic panels ... is there some way of avoiding this problem? I aready remove the cap that covers the strut but the bar still does not fit.... needs a little bit of cutting... but I want to keep the panels stock and not cut. any help would work. Thanks guys.

I don't have Skunk2 rear strut but some off brand eBay one and I had a little problem fitting it in as well. I had to bend the plastic a little to make it fit, but still looks good. I didn't cut anything. Just do what you gotta do and try everyway possible before you cut it.

thats what Im thinking..... would you have any clues to a name brand strut that would fit withut cutting? Thanks for the help guys.

you can buy the actual ITR strut bar...it doesnt require cutting and you can cut the top plastic part and stick that back on too...i, on the other hand, have a replica and had to cut
