Skunk2 Intake Manifold acting funny????helllpppp... plzzz
well I installed a skunk2 Intake Manifold and there have been a few times that I find my self feeling like my car is loosing power around 3000rpm to about 4000rpm... i have to give it gas and it when i pass a point in the RPM's it picks up quicklyyyyy. Not sure what is going on. i have a stock Throttle Body with a No brand 2.5 inch short ram Intake along with a new air filter.
NOTE: engine does not idle. everything works good. I even Cleaned the Intake Control Valve.

From the sounds of it you may have a vacuum leak. What engine and vehicle? Any CEL's? Sounds like you need to get it to idle first. lol
EDIT: I think you mean IACV (idle air control valve)...

It's gonna be hard to find a vacuum leak if the car doesn't idle btw. I'd have to guess that you possibly forgot to hook up one of the vacuum lines or forgot to plug a sensor in when changing manifolds. Also, you did use new gaskets on everything right? New injector o-rings?

No I didn't use new injector O rings because they seemed fine to me and looked in good condition, but I did use new gaskets. Everything was hooked right. I think It might be because the I.M is bigger than stock.

Could be one of the reasons you're having idle problems then. The injector o-rings help to seal the intake manifold from vacuum leaks.

You may have also gotten connectors mixed up. Make sure your MAP isn't plugged into the TPS and vice versa.
Do you have all injectors plugged into the right clips? All fuel lines tight with correct gaskets? Banjo fitting on the fuel line clocked correctly?
