Default Skunk2 Inlet Whistle??

Hey folks,
Dont get on here much, but just fitted a skunk2 inlet to my b16a2. Inlet came off an itr but im using a b16 iacv. Seems to work ok, but under acceleration there is a whistling noise, which is most audible around 3-3.5k rpm. Ive checked the vacum hoses are all plugged in, and everything seems fine. Gonna re-route 1 tube as it doesnt look like its following its natural path. Doesnt seem to occur when car is stationary otherwise i'd be able to get a better idea of where its coming from. Also fitted hondata type manifold gasket, which is quite abit thicker than the regular gasket, could this be anything to do with it?

Gonna wait for the engine to cool down and see if i can tighten any bolts around the inlet, and re-route any vacum hoses.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Is there a solution? Or could it be the iacv?

Thanks in advance for your help

Well, with the stock manifold it never made a sound, the intake is the standard ducting with a hks panel filter. The pipework before the filter has been removed completely so its sucking from the area under the headlight.

As i say, it made no noticable noise before, so strange that just the new manifold would have such an effect.

Will have to try my methods mentioned above tomorrow as the sun kept the engine far to hot for me to work on, and now im going out!
Will post the results of my checks tomorrow!

EDIT: Just had a quick listen whilst moving the car, stuck my head under the bonnet and sounds like its coming from the intake as suggested above. Thanks for your help, will do more investigating tomorrow, but think thats all it is, cheers
