Default skunk2 coilovers with tokico shocks? yes or no?

does anyone here have skunk coils with tokico illuminas? if so, hows the ride? any suggestions for a better setup for under 5 bills ? im lookin to drop my 2k SI, im lookin more towards ride comfortability. whats a good setup for everyday driving conditions,and better than average handling comob? any ideas are greatly appreciated. thanks

the best setup for that money would be a set of groundcontrol coilovers and KYB AGX adjustable shocks. it rides very smooth. it might cost you a little over $500 though, but not a lot. you'll like it.
i have skunk2 coilovers and KYB's, springs are a little stiffer than groundcontrol and therefore the ride is not as comfortable. as far as tokico illuminas, i'm not a big fan... i had 'em b4 and i wasn't happy. go with KYB.
groundcontrol+KYB combo will be perfect for street driving.

i have skunks and tokico illuminas. it rides pretty stiff in my opinion. when i set the illuminas to 1 (the softest setting) it is pretty bouncy. when i set it to the stiffest setting, it is bouncy as well. but, i never had the chance to compare it to anyone else's car.

If you have a civic/teg go with the ground controls if you have a Prelude/Accord go with the Skunks.
