I agree, not really something you need, but I have one, and I like it. Gives you a notchy feel when you shift, which is cool, but certainly not a necessity.

Re: Skunk 2 Short Shifter (ApexI EX)
DC sucks!!! I nearly punched a whole in my dash and broke my hand when it broke on 2-3 shift in my itr. When i examined it, it looked like it was made of some cheap alloy. On contrast the skunk 2 shifter was primo. First and last product I would ever own from DC.

I heard that the threads on the s2 short shifter only takes the s2 shift ****. Any truth to this? Anyone have a ITR **** on a s2 double bend short shifter?

Re: Skunk 2 Short Shifter (jimsterli)
i got the dc short shifter...it's too damn short
it's almost like reaching in the console to change gears
see what i mean
i have been wondering about the skunk2 with the weighted skunk2 **** about how it feels
i have a tenzo weighted **** on my dc and it's ok and all but want a lil taller shifter
